    Hi,

I need to adapt the name, hence, urls of the pages such as ‘Manage’, ‘Add’, ‘Adverts’ to my language.

I tried doing that manually through admin panel, but this results in blank pages.
I also use custom advert_category and advert permalinks that I was able to use through one of your snippets.

    How do I do that?

Hi, hmm you should be able to change the title and slugs of these pages directly from wp-admin / Pages panel. If changing them there ends with w white page only then most likely there is some fatal error on site.

Please, open file wp-config.php file add there line define("WP_DEBUG", true); and retry now aside of white page you should also see an error message which you can copy and paste here, i should be able to help then.

The 404 error appears only after renaming the main ‘Adverts’ page, other pages work fine.

The information provided in the snippet doesn’t seem to address my need: https://gist.github.com/gwin/4d570ef1375e61a24912

Ok, so this looks more like a problem with WordPress itself rather then WPAdverts. The ability to change the page name from wp-admin / Pages is the core WP functionality.

What you can try doing is just create a new page from wp-admin / Pages / Add New panel, in the page content put [adverts_list] and see if it works.

If it does then trash the old page with [adverts_list] and go to wp-admin / Classifieds / Options panel and set the “Default Ads List Page” to a newly created page.

Didn’t work as well, the 404 error remained.

Nevertheless, that’s alright with me, I’m fine with that.

Hi you can check one thing. Go to permalinks and there klick on save without any changes. That could be a fix for your 404 problem.
