• HI, is there anyway of using this and allowing us to change how the default pagebreak url format is setup in a WordPress post instead of adding /1 or /2 within the url that these numbers could be overridden and controlled within the setting of your plugin or post, these page numbers need to match a book numbering system which often looks like this /40-120 or /45-130 so instead of /1 this would be replaced with /40-120

Well, WordPress is expect the normal page numbers which are used to calculate the posts to display on the current page. The only what I can think of doing this is to manually create pages with the URL of /40-120 or /45-130 and manually create links between the pages.

Thank you but this is for a WordPress post not a page, so it will always be a simple WordPress post with one url split up into about 100 pages.

The WP Paginate plugin is only used for WordPress blog post index pages. An index page displays multiple blog post titles and links. It does not handle pagination for single pages.
