• The HTML5 search form works fine as far as the search icon showing and when clicked the input expands.

What I would like to do is change the transition properties, specifically the width. But, if I can change the default “400ms” I would like to do that as well.

Does anyone know where the css/js lives that set these values?

    What theme are you using?

I am using a custom theme. And the searchform is not in the sidebar.

I found what I was looking for. The problem was right in the style.css file in the custom theme. I haven’t worked on this theme in a while and thought I was looking for some type of WordPress magic file.

    mark as resolved.
