• I have a client that wants to change from her current XStore theme to Martfury. She is selling her products through WooCommerce .
My problem is that on the XStore theme a developer placed the following code in the Product Short Description
    [button et_class="" target="_blank" style="medium white" url="https://rtest.online/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/EE218A_INFO.pdf" icon="" title="4X4"][button et_class="" target="_blank" style="medium white" url="https://rtest.online/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/EE218B_INFO.pdf" icon="" title="6X6"][button et_class="" target="_blank" style="medium white" url="https://rtest.online/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/EE218C_INFO.pdf" icon="" title="VALUE SET"]
This works perfectly on the XStore theme and it creates the required buttons + the links.

However, this does not work in the Martfury theme. If you place the code in the Martfury theme it handles it as normal text.
Is there a work around for this because currently one needs to manually add the links in the Product Features Description in order to crate the same effect.
There is more than 200 products, and this will take forever.

  • It looks like you will have to dig throught the XStore code to find the function that creates those buttons/links and use that function in the new theme
