I changed my blog to just-a-mindset and then could not access admin – i then (der..) deleted the themes files hoping that default would kick in – it has not – i now have a blank page. this is through rmit uni and a course i am doing there. the address is
    http:..raws.adc.rmit.edu.au/~s9869233/blog2
can anyone help with a suggestion as to how to access any files so i can reinstate a theme please?
thanks if you know and can help.
    Jennifer

Delete the contents of wp-content/cache and see if that help?

thankz for the suggestion. this is a blog posted on a university site and i tried to follow your suggestion – the cache is locked from deletion. i will have to wait a few more hours until techs get back from the weekend. and get them to look into it. i will check in with the discussions with them and let you know if that did help. cheers! do you have a blog podz? i am keen to know.

FTP into your WP Themes folder (…/wp-content/themes/) and change the name of the default theme folder to the name of the theme you just deleted. That will make wordpress think the default theme, is the one you are are using and you can then log back in and fix things normally…
Has worked for me in the past…

Paul, I love you! it worked so thankyou for being so smart. I have read some of your retail therapy stories and will now questions those faces of the checkout service people more carefully, did you say you are in melbourne?
your blog seems like a lot of work. do you use php programming skills?
thanks again – of course when I think about it that was a very logical and cool calm and collected way to think about the solution. as i am quite raw to blogs, i let technofear rule for that time and learned helplessness took over – are you an optimist?
