• Hi! I want to install my wordpress site in my domain that I have registered in the no-ip, but even if I enter by the domain to do the installation it installs in my ip, and if I try to change my URL from my IP to my domain the site stop working. I can’t leave it instaled in my ip because my network works in a dynamic DNS, and as soon it changes my ip the site will stop working. What I should do now?

  • Go to the web site for the dynamic address service you are using (no-ip.com?) and get an update client. https://www.no-ip.com/downloads.php

Some routers also have the ability to update from dynamic ip service providers automatically.

Get the updater, install it on your machine and update your ip with the no-ip service. Wait for the name servers to start resolving to your home ip address, and then install WordPress using your domain name.

Yes, it was exacty what I have done, but even so when I enter the settings page there is my ip adress in the site url, :-/. I’ve already tried a lot of things, and nothing worked… I don’t know if I should change the wordpress, the apache or the no-ip configuration…
