changing the theme shift action bar background color

  • Hi,
    I have an older theme (deSignum ThemeShift) and when I just had my site automatically updated to WordPress 4.2.4, the background of the action bar disappeared. It looks kind of bad right now because you see only the letters right below the sliders. (booking, donate, etc.) Can someone help me figure out how to get the action bar background color back? It was a light gray bar right under the sliders and it separated the sliders from the blog portion. It looked better. There is no more support for this older theme so I need some CSS advise.   • You can try adding something like this to your custom CSS:

    #bar {
    background-color: #444;
    height: 60px;
    padding-top: 10px;
}

    Not sure if that’s the color of gray that you are looking for. I used the same value as the gray in the meta field (post date).
