I am still setting up the longevity theme, with the hope to purchase the pro theme, but wish to make sure I can change all that I need to.

I want to make the banner longer in height, so my image can be seen more. So in other words, I want to be able to customise the height set for the banner.

The banner container will be whatever height you make your image. In other words, when you upload your image, size it to what you want before uploading and then the container automatically adjusts.

One thing to note is that the front page curve will take up about 180px of photo space at the bottom, whereas the inner pages have a smaller curve which takes up about 80px.

Example: If you want a front page image to be 600px in height, the exposed portion above the curve will show 480px of image.

Hi. I cannot post site address, as I have only began it and I have not much to show, plus it has a “building” message on it at the moment. @ Shaped Pixels… yes I have the image the same size as the sample banner… but will increase the height and see how that works. Thanks so much. I shall try it out and get back to you.

You’re very welcome… for a reference to the live demo site, I made the front page image 2560 x 720 pixels to accommodate large monitor resolutions. For the screens that go up to 1920, you could do something like 1920 x 650 pixels.

The inner page demo has an example image that is 300px in height.

Morning, yes changing the size of the image has worked very well indeed. Many thanks.
