• Folks at Go Daddy tell me there is a problem with my database connection stream after I’ve changed my wordpress URL. I worked through the codex on changing the site URL. I did not make any changes in my dashboard and can no longer access it. The site is not working. The folks at Go Daddy have tried to help, but no luck on getting my site running. I did back up my database and did an FTP backup of all my files. Would love not to have to recreate my whole site- but I’m on day four of this process and am wondering if I do need to start over from scratch?!? Can anyone help me???

Thanks Samboll, I have changed the URL directly in the database as recommended in the Changing_The _Site_URL. It appears that everything is set with the new URL address, but I continue to get “Error establishing a data base connection” message. Any ideas on what may be causing the problem? I know there are things I would need to change in the dashboard, but can not access it. Thanks for any suggestions!

All is fixed. I had changed the sql password and had failed to update it on the wp-config.php. Thanks for your help.
