For the Work section of my site, and all of the projects inside it, I’ve created a Pod called ‘Projects’ which you can see in the breadcrumb at the top.

I’d like to change the name to something instead of Projects to Work, but when I edit the Pod name by clicking the Edit button in the top left of the dashboard, all of my projects disappear from the Work page and become inaccessible from the dashboard.

It’s simply not a case of just changing the name of the Pod so how can I get around it?

Do I have to create a new Pod and all of the tags/categories I’ve created and link everything up again? I really want to avoid doing that if at all possible.

Any help would be much appreciated, thank you.

    Hi @motionvideosuk

You probably need to convert your objects as well. All posts are stored in the database under the original post type name, these references should be updated to the new ones.
I just tested this locally without issues.

Keep in mind though that all references in your templates to the old CPT name should be updated to the new name!

If you just want to change the label of the Pod and not the CPT/Pod name then please rename the Pod back to what it was an only change the singular and plural labels. It should update all UI stuff without changing the storage (CPT) name.

    Cheers, Jory
