• Hello.

I’m extremely new to WordPress, so assume (safely), that any instructions will have to be idiot proof.

On the site I’m running, for a sports team, we have a list of rules and regulations that each team member is required to follow.

I have that list broken down in an outline style, just like you used for English papers back in school. For example, section 5 is about gas for team travel events. Section 5.1 talks about how much gas is to some events, and 5.2 is about gas to other events.

The problem I’m running in to is that some of the points go 5 or 6 levels deep, so I’ll have Section 5.2.6 or something. When you’re that deep in, it can get a little easy to get lost.

What I’d like to do is change the numbering system. Instead of section 5.1.1, I’d like to make it 5.A.i, or 5.a.1, or something other than number-number-number. I know how to change it from numbers to bullet it points, but I can’t figure out how to change from numbers to something else.

    Can someone help?

If this is in the wrong section, I apologize.
