Changing the order of past events in the List view

Is it possible to change the order in which past events are displayed in the list view? They are currently listed oldest first, but I would like the past events to be displayed most recent first. That seems to make more sense than having the first event displayed in the list be the oldest in the database.

This is in the base version of Events Calendar. I’m currently using v 4.0.4.

I am about to update to the latest version (4.2.3). Since I didn’t see anything in the release notes indicating that what I’m asking about appeared between 4.0.4 and 4.2.3, it didn’t seem necessary to wait until that was done to ask the question.
