By default, in the email templates the login variable is indicated as !!login_url!!, which corresponds to mydomain.com/login/. However I have that listed in my Wordfence in order to block users who attempts to browse to that URL. Is there a way to change the variable’s endpoint?

Hi there, thank you for reaching out to the Paid Memberships Pro team.

The login URL gets populated with the page that has been set under Memberships > Settings > Pages under the Login Page dropdown. I would recommend changing this to a different page or use the ‘Use WordPress Default’ option, depending on which page you are comfortable sharing with your members.

Thanks for that. My theme has got a membership button that can be assigned to any URL, and I have set that for the PMP page. Yet I need to ask you one more clarification? How does this fit with Woocommerce account login/account pages? I guess the ecommerce experience would be excluded by this flow, but what about my cart/payment flow?

Woocommerce would be excluded from this flow – all payments are by default processed by the Paid Memberships Pro core plugin when using Paid Memberships Pro.

If you want payments to be processed through Woocommerce and then just give a user a membership level when purchasing a specific product, you can make use of our Woocommerce Integration Add On to help achieve this.

More information on this Add On can be found at https://www.paidmembershipspro.com/add-ons/pmpro-woocommerce/
