  • Thanks Spooky! For disabling comments (which I think you are referring to), when you have a page open in the editor, at the bottom is a checkbox next to “Discussion”. Check that box to disable comments. If it’s not there, make it visible by clicking in the upper right “Screen Options” and select Discussion.

As for a full width without the sidebar columns, this theme unfortunately does not offer that layout because this one is designed more for a blog.

I do have other themes available that do offer full width layouts if Luminescence doesn’t work for your needs.

sorry my English is not perfect… I need a theme where I can disable the part where people can put comments. SO in some pages I will have a blog style in others plain pages with infos. In my personal website under Page Attributes I have the option of choosing a blog page of a full width page (which maintains the style of the pages but doesn’t show the comments area.)

Do you have a similar theme in style to the luminescence which allows me to create pages without blogs?

Thank you so much for your help.

p.s.: I don’t have this part: ” when you have a page open in the editor, at the bottom is a checkbox next to “Discussion”. Check that box to disable comments. If it’s not there, make it visible by clicking in the upper right “Screen Options” and select Discussion.”

No need to say sorry…for comments, just as I mentioned, you can disable these which is part of WordPress. When you create a page or edit a page, there is a setting you can disable comments, which is done as I described above. You can also disable comments on posts as well in the same way.

If you do not see that Discussion setting below your editor, if you look all the way up in the upper right there is a tab that says “Screen Options”. When you click on that, it shows several other options you can enable or disable for your editor.
