Changing the english translation

Hello,
I’m I able to change the english translation of the plugin somehow?
I have a english WP installation and in includes/langs folder I tried to create dbem-en_EN.po and .mo files and also tried to change the dbem-en_GB.po and.mo translations but didn’t manage to change anything.
