    Ok,
most likely a silly newbee question however:

I want to use EM for training course management and registration.

But, I have a set of basic training courses, each with a description and then the courses go active on different dates and intervals.

I want to change the basic “Event” name to something that fits my use better like “Kurs” or “Seminar” etc.

    Where do I start this:
is it just to rename the related auto generated pages or is the some logic coupled to the “Event” name?

Sorry if this is a silly question, maybe I just don’t see the tree in this huge forest….

  • Hiya,

Renaming the default Events page, should accomplish most of what you want to do, yes.

If you see other mentions of “event” on the front end of your site that need changing, let us know and we’ll guide you to change those too.

    Thanks

Thanks, I renamed the Eventspage as you suggested, and it works well enough, the permalink will stay at /event/ but that will do for now.

I would love a way to list “events” or “Activities” as I call them in the form
start day – end day Month Year
but I believe that would brake a lot of other things if I started to mess around in php….. or??

    22 – 25 Apr 2014
    09:00 – 17:00

    instead of
    22 Apr 2014 – 25 Apr 2014
    09:00 – 17:00

I really appreciate the quick response and the work put into Events Manager. It will do the trick for me, just small adoptions required for me.
    Thanks
