Changing the Appearance of WooCommerce

Hello,
I installed WooCommerce, which is working pretty good. The problem though are the following:

1. the background of the product page is empty, I would like to add some background and make the products to appear in white boarders.

2. I would like the subcategories be be displayed like the main categories. opening Category 1 and I see all sub categories in order to choose one of them, I can’t get it working.

Any Idea?
