    Hi AFTheme,

Thanks for creating such a great theme. I’m currently using this theme for my recent client’s website.

I have a question. My customers want a website in their language. However, this theme is not 100% translated yet. So I have created a child theme and I have manually translated all untranslated string except 2 parts below. Please kindly assist me and let me know which files should I modify for the string below?

“By” string. Please refer to the image below.

“Home” string. Please refer to the image below.

    Thanks in advance.

  • Hi,
Thank you so much for using our theme. By the way, instead of doing that, you can translate the theme strings from here in your own language. Translate Elegant Magazine Now.

If you want to do that directly in theme file,
    1. The text home is in breadcrumb library file.
    2. By, this text is in templates tag file.

Better you use the editor and search the text.

    Hope this helps.

    Thank you

    Hi @afhelpteam

Thank you for your reply. I agree that it’s a good idea to translate this theme. But it will take time and I need to submit this to my customers as soon as I can.

I have changed the string in the files as you pointed, however, it remains unchanged. I did clear all cache on my browser, including caching mechanism on file hosting company and purge the CDN as well.

Do I need to copy all of your theme files into the child theme for it to work? Or just copy the files I need to modify? Or do I do it in the wrong way?

Below is the highlighted line of files I changed.

    Hi @shahahmadyusof,

We checked by editing the text and it is fine on our end.
    1. template-tags.php, we edited By and it is fine.
    2. breadcrumb.php, we edited Home and it works fine.

You can only translate the required and untranslated string in .org. IT is not necessary to do for all.

You can just copy the file that needs to be edit. But, you need to make the folder structure same to overide from child theme.

    Thank you
