• Hi,

    my site https://ticketymarketing.com/survival/ was originally cloned from a weight loss site. Under Settings I have changed the site description to Survival Tips and Techniques but in the browser bar it still says ‘Weight Loss For Women’

    How do I change this? The theme is Canvas.

    Login in to your WordPress Dashboard, and click Settings > General and fill in the “site title” field with right the name.

    1. Go to WordPress Dashboard
    2. Setting > general > Change the Site title and tagline & click save changes.

    Hi,

    thanks for your replies. But that’s the strange thing, I have already changed this (see https://www.screencast.com/t/FtFSEhYbTsdH) but the browser bar still shows ‘weight loss for women’

    Any idea why?

    Kindly, disable all plugins
    And clear all cache check it once.

    If then site title is updated then, activate plugin one by one.and keep on checking.

    Disable All in One SEO plugin and see what happens

    That worked – ohzna, you are a star!

    So I reactivated All in One SEO plugin, went into the settings of the plugin and changed the Site Title there, and now it displays properly in the browser bar.
