What kind of “circles” – can you show an example?

Thanks WPyogi, yes I have a child theme created. I want the menu to be made up of green circles (instead of just running in a line as they currently do).

Still not sure what you want to do – but it sounds like using images as menu items may do that. Perhaps try this plugin?
