    Hello!

As many others, I’m new at this CSS stuff but I’m gettin’ there! ?? I have a question that hopefully can be answered. First, this is my website url: https://jonssonsstockdogs.com/ and I am using the “melville theme”…

So, right now when you go to my website (the start page) you will see my blog. I would like to make a “real home page” instead and let people go to the blog page thru’ the menu instead. Makin’ the menu look like this:

Home – News (Blog) – Dogs – etc.

Is this possible, if so, hopefully someone can help me?! ??

    Take care, Silja

  • Hi Silja-

Create a page you want to use as the homepage. Go into your admin settings and click on reading and change your front page display. You can then set the page you created for your homepage to be the static front page of your site. You can then also use a custom template to change the look and layout of your static page.
