Changing Slug

  • I currently use /archives/### for my permalink, and I’m planning to change to /post-title
    My question is around the slugs. Each of my posts current have a slug that is not being used for the permalink. Can I go through and optimize them all before switching to /post-title (when they will become part of the permalink?) Or will changing the slug hurt my SEO even if the slugs aren’t currently being used for my permalinks.
