If in the site URL (https://www.thecanadianbazaar.com/migrating-to-Canada/), I remove `migrating-to-Canada/’, and keep only https://www.thecanadianbazaar.com which is also WordPress URL, what will be consequences?

WordPress URL should stay the same but you can change the Site Url but you have to follow these Codex instructions. I use method 2.
