Changing “Shopping item” TEXT

  • Hi there,
    I am trying to change the text for the basket (called “Shopping item” in your theme) but you seem to have hard-coded it somewhere and nothing seems to work!
    So could you please provide the solution for changing that Shopping item text?

    BTW: nobody every calls the cart “shopping item” – it is called basket, or cart, but never “shopping item”

    Waiting for the solution!

    Hello candy2012,

    Add the following code in end of functions.php

    function wpfi_change_text( $translated_text ) {
    if ( $translated_text == ‘Shopping Item’ ) {
    $translated_text = ‘NEW TEXT’;
    }
    return $translated_text;
    }
    add_filter( ‘gettext’, ‘wpfi_change_text’, 20);
