Changing SEO title within the snippet

    We are running Yeost SEO Version 11.5 on our multi-site configuration and are having an issue with the seo title snippet changing the main page title.

    Page title is also updating without the snippet being saved.

    Any support will be appreciated.

    Sorry to hear about your issue @darcynet72 . Can you please confirm if the issue persists with Yoast SEO 11.6?

    Hi @jerparx we have just updated to 11.6 aqnd the problem still persists.

    The SEO Title that appears in the Snippet Preview is not expected to change the WordPress Title of the page your visitors see. That SEO Title is only expected to change the title that appears in Google.

    We would like some more information.

    1. Are all your non-Yoast plugins and themes updated?

    2. Can you take a screenshot of what the Snippet Preview and your WordPress title looks like on the backend? You can use a tool like: https://pasteboard.co/ to share the image.

    3. If you briefly deactivate Yoast, does the WordPress title change?
