    Hi there,

    Is there a way to remove the ability to select how many rooms one is searching for in the VikBooking plugin?

    I am using the plug in to display properties, not rooms inside of the property so would like the option removed.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your message. In the Configuration page of Vik Booking there’s a setting called “Number of Rooms” in the “Search Parameters” section of the page. If you set it to 1, the search forms of the front-end will no longer request to choose how many rooms should be booked.

    Please remember that most configuration settings are cached in the PHP session, and so after saving the changes, it is better to test them by using a new incognito/private session with your browser.

    Alternatively, the default language strings for “Room”, “Rooms”, “Room #” etc.. could be overridden to another value, like “Property”, “Properties” etc.. In this latter case you would need a third party plugin to create such Gettext override rules.
