Changing product to bundles, removes access to legacy customer’s downloads

I am using ‘WPC Product Bundles for WooCommerce’ to change existing products FROM digital downloads TO bundles (of separate digital products).
Problem I’m having is that when changing a product from a collection of digital downloads to bundle of digital downloads, any orders made before the change do not see ANY of the downloads on their account, either from the original downloads or those included in the new bundle setup?
Any suggestions for how to resolve this?
