Changing post Icon

I was wondering how to change the current post format Icons to a different Icon. For example I want the Link post format to show fa fa-newspaper-o, Instead of fa fa-link. This Is the link to the Icon I want Instead > https://fortawesome.github.io/Font-Awesome/icon/newspaper-o/

Hope you are able to help me out. I have been searching threw folders and files hoping to figure It out myself but thought I should come here and get better guidance from the creator of the theme.
