Is there a way to customize the text that pops up when people enter their info into the email-optin module? I am using the Divi theme. The current text that pops up is “subscribed– look for the confirmation email.”
I’ve looked up a few threads online, but none of them work.
    Thanks so much!

  • Have you tried logging on to the admin side and going Mailchimp -> Forms -> Messages and entering your desired text in the “Successfully subscribed” blank?

Sorry, I see mailchimp > forms > …. Not seeing a messages area. You’re talking about on the wordpress admin side, right?
    Thanks for your help.

Hmmm… Yes, on the admin side. When you go Mailchimp -> Forms, you should be on the Edit Form page, and there are four tabs: Fields, Messages, Settings, and Appearance. It’s the Messages tab you want. Unless you have the Premium version? You may need to select the form you want to edit first.

Hey @linux4me2 thanks for helping out :).

Hello @dianagami, once you go to the form page you should see some tabs on top. One of them is for controlling to success/error messages. However, please note that these messages do not pop-up. So if you are referring to something else, please let us know.

    Hi guys,

I really appreciate your help, but I’m not seeing this at all ?? Maybe I’m in the wrong area.

This is what I see in my WP admin page when I go to Mailchimp >Forms

    (There’s no tabs or anything)

And this is the text on my webpage I’m trying to change. It pops up after a user enters their info into the email opt-in module and hit send:

Thanks for trying to help, I really appreciate it. This has been driving me nuts.

It looks like you haven’t connected to a list or created your first MailChimp for WordPress form. That would explain why you don’t have the Messages tab. Try giving your form a name, selecting the list it should connect to, and configure the rest of the settings, then save it. At that point, you should see the tabs we’re talking about.
