Changing Picture Sizes on Home page

I have just checked out your website and the size of blog post thumbnail images is the same as on the recipes categories and pages.

Please specify what images we need to re-size and propose the needed size as well.

Well I wanted to maybe do 200×250 so it would be longer instead of wider on my homepage. ALtho i wanted to play around with it, so i wanted to know where i could change it? Would that change the featured image size on your blog posts as well?

Sorry for the delay here, thanks for your patience!

The featured image on the blog posts uses the full size image, so changing the thumbnail sizes shouldn’t affect the featured image on your actual post pages.

Thanks for getting back to me. So this plugin keeps coming up in my search, but it says it is untested with my version of wordpress and has not been updated in 5 yrs. Is it safe to download? Is there another one that would be compatible like imsanity plugin?

Hi Elena,

That particular one is still functional and working well with the latest version of WordPress, but it’s possible that there are others that would work equally well. I’m not familiar with Imsanity, but if it supports overriding specific theme image size settings, then it should work.
