Changing Password Requirements

Hello again everyone,
I am trying to finalize everything with this plugin but one tweak I wanted to make was changing the password requirements. In the UM settings, at the bottom of the accounts tab, I do have “Require a strong password?” set to Off, but when new users register, they are still required to have at least one lowercase letter, one capital letter and one number. I want to convenience members by allowing them to have an eight character password with no number or capital if they don’t want to. I was wondering if there was a way, either through UM, or at all to accomplish this.
