• Is anyone able to tell me how I change the page colour of the Twenty Ten Theme? I don’t mean the background or the header but I guess it is called the body of the page is is boring old white, I would like a pale blue shade. Can I do this with this news theme or can someone suggest a better theme for my purpose. Many thanks

  • Go into the style.css and find the second #wrapper tag.

Replace the #fff with something like #C6D9F1.

Thank you! Where do I find the style.css? Sorry to be so thick about this – my only defence is that I am new to it all. Cheers

    No problem!

If you have a self-hosted WordPress, Login to your WordPress and click on Appearance > Editor.

This will take you to a page with a textarea. If you look to the right, there is a list that says “Templates”. Below that list is another that says “Stylesheets”. Click the Stylesheet (style.css).

When this pulls up, use your Browsers find option to locate the term “#wrapper” (without quotes).

The second result is the one where you want to change that.
