  • I’m not sure what the theme process is but I’m sure it is same as plugins:

    Thanks Mike,

    Do you happen to know which email address to go to for that for themes?

    I’m not sure but you could poke around here:

    Can you explain more on how I should go around ‘poking’? Sorry, but I haven’t used any of those links before. It seems like a blog to me.

    Thanks again.

    Do you have a specific example for changing a plugin or theme hosted on www.remarpro.com’s repository? Looking at your profile I don’t see any associated with your account.

    Changing plugins isn’t hard if the author does it. The plugin author adds the other account as a contributor or author and then the new account removes the original account. The plugins team can explain it in better detail to you if there’s a plugin author willing to do that.

    For themes it’s more complicated and you have to submit the theme new. At this time there’s no way to move a theme to another account.

    If you want to change ownership of a plugin, you can do it yourself, if you’re the owner. Just change the committer of the plugin in the admin panel.

    For themes, it’s slightly more complicated in that currently only I can do it. ??

    So, if you need a theme ownership transferred, you email me, and I do it for you. Eventually this will be easier.

    @jan,
    Thank you and yes, I do have some themes and a plugin hosted here on another account.

    @samuel,
    Thanks! I will do that.

    A feature to change ownership to someone else easily would be really great to have in case one decides to stop supporting it. Looking forward to it.
