Changing order of header menu

  • Hi,

    I am attempting to change the order and labels of my header navigation.

    I found this page

    and feel it probably has the information i need, but I just don’t feel confident that I will not completely ruin my blog.

    On the index I would like to remove the “home” and “uncategorized” navigation links.

    I then would like to order the remaining four links in this order..”connect”, “my business and I”, “resources”, “property”.

    Any help is a great big help!

  • Your blog appears to be using a combination of the functions wp_list_categories() and wp_list_pages().

    The wp_list_pages() function can take parameters that will allow you to display your “pages” in their “menu order”, or in other words the order you set for them.

    You may be able to comment out or delete the call to wp_list_categories; and, the “Home” link may be as easily removed.

    Your current theme appears to be a “premium” one, have you posed these questions to the author?

    thanks for the reply. i have just been upgraded to the “paid-for” section of the authors forums so i should be in good shape at this point! many thanks!!!
