Changing # of Blog posts on front page error

  • Ok so Im having some trouble designing a template using the Blank theme by Chris coyier.

    I have set my reading setting to show only 5 posts … underneath the 6th post is the “older entries” link which works but below (after a few line breaks) are my old posts which I want to be on a seperate page :S

    Any help would be great

    I can provide code on request but website is only on a local host server atm.

    Ok the error is being caused by incorrect positioning of <?php get_sidebar(); ?> in my index.php but i cant figure out where to put my <?php get_sidebar(); ?> that allows it both to float right and not interupt the older and new link positioning ??
