Changing Name of Shipping Options

  • This is a great plugin. Thank you! I am using this to break the cart into packages by shipping class.
    Currently at checkout it defines the different split shipments by shipping #1, shipping #2, etc. Is it possible to modify this to the name of the shipping class. My shipping classes are in-stock and non-stock and I was hoping this could be visible somewhere at checkout.

    I’m afraid not yet. I will look into again, but I am not aware of any changes made to this system in WooCommerce 2.4. If I come up with anything, however, perhaps I can suggest it to them for WC 2.5. Unfortunately it has to be built into the core but I can see what it within the realm of possibilities.

    I’m also looking for a way to show a class-based break down of shipping costs in the cart. This almost works with the $200 Table Rate Shipping WooCommerce plugin (along with the right settings), but I still end up with Shipping #1 on the left and the right side squeezes both the name of the shipping class and price. I’d like to do away with Shipping #1 and simply show the shipping class name on the left and price on the right.

    I just read the code Ray Flores posted a year ago on this support thread and it helped me perfectly.
