I have combed through this forum and found a few other people that asked this question and got help, but unfortunately, their solutions didn’t work for me.

Currently, the theme menu font is set to white. I would like to have a white background for my pages so this isn’t going to work. I can’t figure out where to go in and edit this. I tried adding custom css in the theme options section and even tried activating a custom css plugin, but the code isn’t working for me. It seems there are different names for that section for different themes. I got it to work for the widgets somehow. I’ve neen tripped up on this for days. Please help!

Of course I figure it out after I finally resort to posting it in here. It was, after all, in the theme stylesheet under .nav_menu
Thanks WordPress forum for fulfilling some kind of universal ironic law that I will figure it out myself only after asking for help.
