Changing language but always returns back to English

Hi all ,

I did used poedit in order to translate a Theme. In wp-config.php did put the command $ locale = ‘pt_EL “;
where pt_el are the names of my files( po, mo). The theme widgets have been translated but woocommerce is in English . In the back end settings did change the language to Greek ,save it but the language returns back to English!
