Changing infinite scroll settings for mobile

I have infinite scroll turned on for a site I am currently building. Is it possible to change the way it behaves on mobile devices? I would like the posts to load via scroll on desktop but via click on mobile, so that on mobile devices the sidebar (which loads below the content) doesn’t get pushed down.
