Changing images on Front Page

I have the Pro-version of this theme but I can not figure out how to upload images. It appears that on the home page you have to change the template inside of this theme from default to home page but once that is done, I can’t get my images to upload. Ive tried using the customize options as well as builder page add content. Any help is appreciated.
