Changing image (WIdth) with other options

  • Hi,

    I will use the plugin for a dj drive-in show. I have a booth in the middle and speakers next to it. The width of the booth varies. Is there a way i can place the speakers next to the booth? Even when the chosen booth gets wider? So 2 images of the speakers but depending on the choise the image will be chosen?

    Hi there,

    The configurator is meant to work with images of exactly the same dimensions, which will overlap like layers.
    So technically it’s not really meant for that.
    BUT you can do this sort of things using some CSS. It might be a bit tricky because you have 2 separate images for the speakers, but I’ve done this type of thing before.

    Hi, mean images with the same outer dimensions. Only the speakers on it will have a different location. Is that possible?

    As said above, you can do this sort of things using some CSS. It might be a bit tricky because you’ll have 2 separate images for the speakers. But I’ve done this type of thing before.

    a trick you can use different single images for speakers position (not 2 images but 1 image)
    1 image with 2 speakers in default position
    1 image with 2 speakers different position
    and so on
    then use conditional logic to recall the right image with speakers
    when you choose different booth…
    could go?

    with condition logic you mean write a css code which says replace this image with this one?

    I will only have to find out what the trigger wil have to be. Like How do i retreive the trigger in css?

    kind like if image a is …. then replace image b with image c?

    I think @nikketrikke is referring to the conditional logic add-on, not just CSS. The add-on allows to show / hide layers or content depending on a specific selection.

    YES sorry i not thought this forum is only the FREE version of the plugin…
    due i have all the add-ons the way is simplier to manage all needs

    Hmmz i think i need a little more help here.

    In this way i can say if option A is selection show option 1 and 2

    and if b is selected select option 3 and for for example.

    But i don’t want 4 options, i just want 2 options in 2 different positions which the client won’t see

    In this way the client also sees the 4 different options. Do you know what i mean?
