Changing image size parameters not working

  • Hi guys,

    I’m having a problem where I cannont get changed Image sizes under Media settings to work. Whenever I change the dimensions for medium or large images and save it, it doesn’t seem to apply the changes and stay at the default sizes. Anyone had this problem?

    Changing the dimensions won’t affect existing images. Only newly uploaded images, after you change the sizes.

    Any “clean” way to en masse resample past images from within WP?

    I’d rather have the then-current settings picked up for image size, quality, filenames, etc., rather than doing it with an external script and hard-coding the values in.

    Not just no, but big, big no. Sizes of the images are not just in the image attachment, but in the posts themselves. You’d have to change dozens of places where those sizes are used.

    Pick your size before you upload.
