Changing icons for sharedaddy (jetpack)

Hello – I am currently using the sharedaddy plugin (an extension of jetpack) and I love everything about the plugin except the way that the buttons look. I created some larger (32X32) image files that I want to use but unfortunately it was not as simple as just replacing the image files that came with it. It looks like I need to figure out how to change the size of the actual buttons but I can’t seem to do that. By default sharedaddy uses some weird gradient hover thing which I don’t need – it’s fine to keep it there but I am not sure if this is the reason it’s complicated to change the size of the icons or not. If you can tell me how to change the size of these buttons I would greatly appreciate it.
