Changing Hosting Providers causes 404 error on Posts

    After importing database files to my new hosting provider, the front page shows up fine but when going to an individual post, or any other page for that matter, I get a 404 error. Any ideas what the problem is?

  • Can you check to see if they have mod_rewrite turned on for your account? Sounds like they may not have. You may have to turn it on within your htaccess file. (Please check to see if that file got populated as well.)

    Also check to see if anything is appearing within your webserver’s error logs.
