• I am using a Theme on my new blog..

I am trying change the header image of the the theme I have downloaded and applied..
when i go to the custom header image page..I downloaded another graphic to replace the image that came with the theme.. the new image appears on the uploaded image header page but when i got to visit the theme page..
the original image is still there..

How does one go about creating / editing the front page of an existing theme..?

  • I think it depends on which theme you are using as the header image can be changed in many ways but again, it depends on how the author setup the function ….which one did you download?

First thing to do is to post in the correct forum:
That way, more people are likely to help you.

I personally tend to ignore posts which are in the wrong forum – because they clogg up and distract from those posts which are in the correct area.

I also assume that if people can’t understand the difference between installation and design, then they are likely to struggle with my answer – regardless of how simple I make it.

My post is about changing a header image in a them which i downloaded.. where do yuo suggest I post this question..MR Smart DEBIL .. Keep your F#$#@ing comments to yourself.. ..

you think too much of yourself..A%$H$%^$%^

The Debil, what’s wrong with you? Thecoffeedude has been asked in the correct forum.

Thecoffeedude, make sure you’re pointing your path to the new image. also check your browser cache. Sometimes appears older elements where must to be the recents. In this case press control + F5 to refresh your page retrieving data direct from server, instead from your cache.

Same as metacortex. It’s prob in your cache, good luck ??
