Changing Header Color of Fourteen Theme

Hey i recently started a wordpress supported site and i am using twenty fourteen theme . I used the Fourteen Colors plugin that made my whole site white, I want to chage the color of site’s Header Black as it was before and keep the rest of site white. I don’t know how to make a child theme , So is there any easy way to do it ?
