Changing from WordPress.com to a domain .

  • Hello,
    I changed my WordPress site that was Medicaiton and Mindfulness, and I had subscribers that followed my blog. I now have host gator for WordPress and the button above in WordPress where ot tells you to about the people that follow your blog doesn’t view anything. I just started to get people subscribing. How can I get them to my blog now or transfer? I don’t see that button that says follow on my site so how can people follow me or subscribe?

    Thanks for the response I tried to make this better, and now its worse..

  • The subscription option you refer to is only available on wordpress.com sites as they are all part of one large network. Self-hosted WP sites, however, are completely independent of one another. so there is no way you can see who is “following” you.

    Thanks for replying. I am still part of WordPress. I am not sure what to do and I am newat this type of stuff. I don’t think I am totally independent fro WordPress. How can I see if this resolved on my website. I know that people that were followers but how can I add them if I cannot see the wordpress feed that used to be visible on my other one?

    I have a question thoigh it pertains that I was at wordpress.com and I still have the same email address that was used for this wordpress. My question is does this affect anything with the new one I have?
