Changing from different hosting

Sorry, I may need to clarify. I am not moving an existing WordPress site. I am not concerned with keeping content either. I would just like to have my URL point to my WP blog.

Did Bluehost give you a temporary url whilst your domain name was being transferred? If so, did you use it to install WordPress?

No, they did not give me a temporary url. My access url was https://www.shiftspace.in and I was given an admin url: https://www.shiftspace.in/wp-admin

shiftspace.in was the domain I used to install WordPress.

You cannot have 2 sites using the same domain name simultaneously. If you are happy to wait up to 72 hours, you could change the name servers to point to your new site and then you should be able to login to the new site. But you not be able to access the old site.

Ok..sorry to bother you again, but I looked at my WP-config.phpand I think there may have been an error with the install. It appears the “MySLQ hostname” field is set as localhost I assume this is incorrect, but how can I locate that information?

localhost is normal (quite often) for that setting
