Changing from 2 Column to 1 Column? [Folder Theme]

  • I want to make my current “Blog” and “Work” page on my wordpress site to display 1 column, instead of the current 2 column ( 1 text/image column and sidebar) template.

    I’m a complete novice, so I’m confused on where to start. I tried doing cntrl+f on the .php files that came with the template, but could not find anything with columns, or find the get_sidebar to remove from the code.

    Am I looking at the wrong php page, or am I looking for the wrong code to change?
