changing format/layout of category description above Category Archives

Hi,
I love the Contango theme and am using it for a new website I’m currently building offline. I was pleasantly surprised to see the category description show up above Category Archives. However, I’d like to tinker with the visuals of this description box (most notably spacing, text alignment and font size). Could you tell me if this is in any way possible?
